Happy New Year! 🎅

There is a tradition, when the new year comes, to make New Year's resolutions. You know, like start exercising in the new year. Or read more books, eat less sweets, don't forget to write unit tests for your code... I happened to meet people's skeptical or even toxic attitude to such resolutions. They say it's silly, not serious and a pathetic attempt to set goals instead of learning how to plan and be responsible for your life. I don't have a strong opinion of my own about this. But I believe that everyone can set goals for themselves on any day, because life, the body, and the planet as a whole doesn't care about dates. And as long as we are rushing through space and time, what does it really matter at what moment you set a new goal? It's all about having the drive and determination to make your life better.

In business however, we have to plan by dates and numbers, operate with years, quarters, weeks, because reporting, events, conferences are tied to dates and periods... By the way, this year I made myself a New Year's resolution to plan all business events and related tasks well in advance, so that I wouldn't have to do everything at the last minute and be late... Wait a minute though... That's what it's called "planning" and is part of my daily routine. Well, so much for the magic! :)

But you! If you need a special date or a moment to make a resolution to yourself, or you didn't get around to making one on New Year's Eve, then right now is the perfect time! Do it now and share with us what is yours this New Year's resolution?
