Another Year | ✉️ #59
Hey! 👋
Another year comes to an end, and with it, we bid farewell to a 2024 full of remarkable events. This year, we witnessed how artificial intelligence transformed from a niche concept into a central topic for nearly every company. We saw incredible innovations, like Startlite catching rockets with giant cartoon-like pincers, and bitcoin soaring to the moon once again, fueled by speculation about its potential use in a future administration.
In 2024, we learned that Nvidia is the most valuable company in the world, though this title, like everything else, might change in 2025. We also witnessed wars, the fall of dictators, and the rise of new authoritarian leaders. We attended weddings, baptisms, and funerals; a continuous cycle of events that, though repetitive, always touches us in unique ways.
2025 is just around the corner and promises to bring even more emotions. New companies will emerge, while others will face challenges. We will see disruptive technologies reshaping the way we live and work. And, unfortunately, we’ll also experience difficult moments, with new wars and political transformations across the globe.
At mkdev, we remain committed to providing the best possible service to all our current and future clients. We will strive to improve, to grow, and above all, to find happiness in the process.
Thank you for being with us for another year. May 2025 bring learning, progress, and happiness to all.
What We've Shared
What was the beginning of DevOps like? How does your project change when you spend more than a decade with it? In episode 51 of DevOps Accents our guest is Thomas Falkenberg from PAYBACK, a multi-partner loyalty program well-known in Europe, he has been working with since 2007.:

What We've Discovered
This time we haven't found any interesting articles to check out (assuming that you've already read Top announcements of AWS re:Invent 2024). Let's have it this way: send us your own interesting links about DevOps, Cloud and AI, and we'll include the best of them in the 60th mkdev dispatch to go around! It can be something you've come across, or something that you've written yourself recently. The only criteria is: it has to be interesting! :)
The last mkdev dispatch of the year will arrive on Friday, December 27th. See you next time!
